Rob won the 2018 World Billiards English Open at Cambridge Snooker Centre on 29th April.

After making a slow start on day one of the event Rob managed to pick his game up as the event rolled on. He qualified as the third for the knockout draw after the group stages. By the end of the final day of the event Rob found his form and scored heavily with consistency, especially in the semi final and final where he beat Phil Mumford and Peter Gilchrist respectively making breaks of 138, 157, 178, 217, 234 and 480 in the final three hours of play.

This win will give Rob some great confidence before shortly starting a heavy overseas play schedule where in the next few weeks he’ll be playing in Jersey, Ireland, Singapore and Australia.
