I have to admit it’s an awkward shot capture due to the downward striking on the cue ball. Also the outcome after a massé is not an exact science due to the vast amount of variations of the shot. The video shows a typical position where a massé can be the shot on. When playing the shot try not to hit the ball too hard and try to effectively ‘squeeze’ the cue ball around the first object ball.
