Here’s a video of three variations of the screw loser. Take note that the spin put on the cue ball and the speed of shot remains the same for all three shots and only the contact point differs. The first shot in the video is the commonly seen 90° screw loser which is played with a thick half ball contact. The second shot is a 45° screw loser which is played at a three quarter ball contact. The final shot is a straight (0°) screw loser played at a full ball contact.
