Rob had an outstanding 2023/2024 billiards season, showcasing his consistency and high performance on both the national and international stages. Here’s a summary of his achievements:

   •   World Ranking: Finished the season ranked #3 in the world.
   •   English Ranking: Clinched the #1 spot in England for the twelfth time, solidifying his position as the EABA’s top player.

   •   Major Titles:
      •   English Amateur Championship: Won for the eighth time.
      •   English Matchplay Championship: Won for the eighth time.
      •   Whitworth Masters: Also won for the eighth time.
      •   ABC Events: Secured victories in four ABC events.

   •   World Ranking Finals: Reached the finals in three major world-ranking tournaments:
      •   Jersey Open
      •   British Open
      •   Pacific International

Rob’s remarkable season underscores his skill, resilience, and sustained excellence in the sport he continues to dedicate himself to.

During this season Rob took on the role of EABA Head of Coaching. Using his many years of coaching experience Rob undertook several coaching days around the country to help other aspiring players to improve their games. He also used these days to introduce new players including several juniors to billiards in a quest to build the number of players around England.
